Kapama Buffalo Camp 4-day luxury safari

Guests arrive at Johannesburg International Airport and will transfer to Eastgate Airport, Hoedspruit, for a short flight. Then they will be taken by road transfer to Kapama Buffalo Camp. Depending on the time of arrival, the guests will have lunch at Kapama Buffalo Campo. Check-in is at 14:00 p.m. Guests can choose to rest at the camp or go for an evening game drive on the day of arrival.

Day 2: Game drives at Kapama Buffalo Camp

Game drives at Kapama Buffalo Camp Guests will have a full day of safari. The early morning safari starts at 6:00 a.m. and ends around 8:00 a.m. The evening safari starts around 15:00 p.m. and continues until around 18.00 p.m. or 19:00 p.m. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served at the camp. There is time to rest in between the game drives, and guests can use the amenities at the camp. Day 3: Game drive and safari walk at Kapama Buffalo Camp

Kapama Buffalo Camp also offers opportunities for bush walks, allowing guests to explore the reserve on foot and immerse themselves in the smaller wonders of the African bush. This activity provides a deeper connection to nature and a chance to appreciate the intricate details of the ecosystem. Between exhilarating game drives, guests can relax and unwind in the camp’s cozy lounge area or take a refreshing dip in the camp’s sparkling swimming pool, overlooking a nearby watering hole. The camp’s dining experience is a true delight, with sumptuous meals prepared by skilled chefs, often enjoyed under the stars around a crackling fire.

Day 4: Early morning game drive and departure from Kapama Buffalo Camp

Guests will go for an early morning game drive before preparing for their departure from the camp. After breakfast, guests will prepare for check out. Check-out is at 11:00 a.m. They are going to be transferred to Eastgate Airport for a flight to Johannesburg International Airport.

What are the requirements for travelling to South Africa?

Travelling to South Africa with children can be confusing. Some few years ago, the South African government required a couple of documents for children to travel with their parents or guardians

A valid passport for the parents/guardians and children
A full birth certificate (original or photocopy of original) if travelling with both parents
If travelling with one parent there is additional documentation , parent consent affidavit not longer than four months and a letter from parents signed by the authorities in case of a guardian

Due to the difficulty in getting some of these documents and the inconvenience it created, the South African government does not require some of these documents anymore. A passport is the only requirement left. However it is advisable to carry your children’s birth certificates with you .

It is always advisable to have travel insurance whenever travelling outside Europe and the United States. This will keep you at ease in case something happens. A travel insurance that covers medical situations during your period in South Africa will make your safari smooth sailing. However this is not compulsory, it’s just advisable.

Do you need any vaccines to travel to South Africa?

There are no compulsory vaccines to travel to South Africa if you are coming from Europe or the United States. However you may want to get vaccines against COVID and the other day to day vaccines we take throughout our lives.
