Depart Johannesburg for a scenic drive to the Sabi Sand Reserve, arriving at Elephant Plains in time to settle into your luxurious suite. After refreshing, head out on your first open-vehicle afternoon game drive, led by expert rangers. Spot elephants, lions, and other wildlife as the bush comes alive at sunset. Return to the lodge for a delicious three-course dinner and relax under the stars with the sounds of nature all around.
Begin with a sunrise safari—prime time to witness predators on the move and birds greeting the day. After an exhilarating drive, enjoy a full breakfast at the lodge. Spend the late morning relaxing: lounge at the pool, read on your private deck, or visit the waterhole for quiet game viewing. After lunch, head out for a second afternoon game drive. End the day with a fireside dinner and perhaps a nightcap at the bar.
Savor one final early morning game drive, offering another chance to spot elusive wildlife and soak in the morning light over the bush. After breakfast back at the lodge, there’s time for farewells and a last look at the serene surroundings before departure. Enjoy a comfortable transfer back to Johannesburg, arriving by 17:00—refreshed, inspired, and filled with unforgettable safari memories.
