You’ll be picked up in Johannesburg and driven to Pilanesberg Game Reserve, where your adventure begins with a morning game drive en route. Spot your first wildlife as you enter the park and begin to feel the excitement of the bush. Arrive at Sundown Country Estate, check in, and relax before heading out again for an afternoon game drive. After sunset, return for a delicious dinner and your first night surrounded by nature.
Start your day early with a morning game drive while the animals are most active. After returning to the lodge, enjoy a hearty breakfast and some well-deserved rest. Take time to unwind or enjoy the lodge’s facilities. In the afternoon, head out again into the reserve for more wildlife encounters. With luck, you may spot the Big Five. Return at dusk for a satisfying dinner and a peaceful night in the African bush.
Your last morning begins with an early game drive to catch any wildlife you may have missed. After breakfast, check out and begin your drive back to Johannesburg. Along the way, enjoy a final safari experience in a closed vehicle as you exit the park. Reflect on your unforgettable Big Five safari before arriving back in the city, ending your journey filled with rich memories and incredible sightings.
