Your safari begins at Hoedspruit Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed and transferred to your luxury lodge near Kruger National Park. After checking in and settling into your bush-style accommodation, the adventure starts with a guided walking safari.
Explore the bush on foot with an experienced ranger, learning to identify animal tracks, plants, and birdlife that often go unnoticed on a vehicle safari. As the afternoon sun sets, enjoy a refreshing aperitif in a scenic spot, watching the sky turn vibrant shades of gold and crimson. Return to the lodge for a gourmet dinner under the stars, rounding off your first day in the heart of the African wilderness.
Rise early for a hearty breakfast before departing on a full-day Kruger National Park safari. Travel in a comfortable open 4×4 vehicle with an expert guide, traversing diverse habitats to search for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as giraffes, zebras, impalas, and colorful birdlife.
Lunch is included during the day, allowing you to relax amid the stunning African scenery. Your guide will share insights about wildlife behavior, conservation efforts, and the unique ecosystems that make Kruger National Park world-famous. After a day packed with unforgettable wildlife sightings, return to your lodge for a well-deserved dinner and the calming sounds of the bush.
After breakfast, choose your adventure. Explore the scenic Panorama Route, where dramatic cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and the Blyde River Canyon await. Visit highlights such as:
God’s Window – sweeping views over the Lowveld
Bourke’s Luck Potholes – fascinating rock formations
Three Rondavels – mountain peaks resembling traditional huts
Alternatively, opt for a wildlife encounter: meet the famous baby hippo Jessica or visit the Moholoholo Animal Rehabilitation Centre, home to rescued wildlife. Guests selecting the wildlife experience can enjoy an optional afternoon game drive for more Big Five sightings. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and one last night surrounded by the peaceful bush.
