South Africa in three contrasting chapters
Start beside the Atlantic, continue into wildlife country and finish with Johannesburg and Soweto. This ten-day midrange journey pairs Cape Town's best-known sights with three nights of comfortable tented accommodation at Dumela Tented Camp, a full-day Kruger safari and the viewpoints of the Panorama Route.
US$2,200 per person sharing; US$3,080 for a solo traveller. Your price includes nine nights, the scheduled one-way Cape Town–Johannesburg flight, itinerary transfers, entrance and conservation fees, and the guided activities listed as included. International flights and optional extras are separate.
Cape Town: history, coastline and mountain views
Four nights in a three-star Cape Town hotel allow time for Robben Island, an afternoon wine excursion, Cape Point, Boulders Beach and the V&A Waterfront. A free day lets you explore independently, without rushing from one excursion to the next. Your final Cape Town day combines Table Mountain and Bo-Kaap before the flight to Johannesburg.
Robben Island ferries and the Table Mountain cableway depend on weather and operations. The Day 5 tour is arranged around your confirmed flight time; the order of visits may be adjusted. Seal Island is optional and not included.
Dumela, Kruger and the Panorama Route
After an overnight in Johannesburg, take the early road shuttle to Greater Kruger. Settle into Dumela and join a sunset drive in the Blue Canyon reserve area. The following day takes you into Kruger National Park for a full-day guided safari, with a packed or bush breakfast and time to search for wildlife. Particular species cannot be guaranteed.
A separate Panorama Route day brings waterfall scenery, God's Window and Blyde River Canyon, with stops adjusted for access, weather and available time. Return to Dumela for dinner and your last camp night before the road transfer back to Johannesburg.
A final day in Johannesburg and Soweto
Spend your ninth night in a three-star Johannesburg hotel, then check out for a full-day Johannesburg and Soweto tour beginning with a stop at the FNB Stadium. End with an airport transfer, or return to your hotel if you have arranged an extra night at your own expense. Confirm your onward flight with us so it leaves enough time for the day's programme.
Nine nights and a clearly defined meal plan
The accommodation plan is four Cape Town hotel nights, three Dumela nights and two Johannesburg hotel nights, one before and one after the safari. City hotel names and room arrangements are confirmed before booking; no specific property is promised here.
Breakfast is included on Days 2–5 and 7–10. Dinner and a complimentary glass of wine are included at Dumela on Days 6–8. Other meals and beverages are extra. The optional final-morning bushwalk or reserve sunrise drive is quoted separately in USD and must fit the return shuttle schedule. Flights, accommodation and activity bookings remain subject to availability.
