Private-reserve wildlife, the Zambezi and a Waterfront finale
Three distinctive stays shape this ten-day luxury journey: Kapama River Lodge in Greater Kruger's wildlife country, Victoria Falls Safari Club overlooking the bushveld, and The Commodore Hotel beside Cape Town's V&A Waterfront. A night at Safari Club SA near Johannesburg's airport gives the road safari and Zimbabwe flight a comfortable pause between them.
US$8,250 per person sharing; US$10,312.50 for a solo traveller. The solo supplement is just 25% for this package; it does not change the rates on our other tours. Nine nights, the specified activities, itinerary ground transfers and the listed meals are included. All scheduled flights are extra, including Johannesburg–Victoria Falls, Victoria Falls–Cape Town and Cape Town–Johannesburg.
Three nights at Kapama River Lodge
Settle into a luxury suite and follow the reserve's early-morning and late-afternoon safari rhythm. Six guided drives in open vehicles give you time to explore Kapama with professional rangers, while quieter hours are yours for the pool and lodge facilities. Spa treatments are additional. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, and these drives take place in Kapama Private Game Reserve, not inside Kruger National Park.
Your room category is confirmed when booking. Royal suites, premium upgrades, exclusive lodge use and a private game-drive vehicle are not automatically included. Guided bush walks are not promised in the scheduled programme.
Victoria Falls by river and rainforest
Fly from Johannesburg on a separately booked flight and take your included arrival transfer to Victoria Falls Safari Club. That evening, a four-hour sunset dinner cruise brings a different perspective on the Zambezi, with a three-course meal and a complimentary glass of champagne. Other drinks are charged separately.
A roughly two-hour guided visit to the Zimbabwe-side Falls viewpoints follows the next morning. Water levels and visibility vary with the season. Your remaining time is free for relaxing or separately arranged excursions; helicopter flights, Chobe visits and adventure activities are not included.
Three Waterfront nights in Cape Town
Continue to Cape Town on a separately booked flight, direct or via Johannesburg according to the available schedule. The Commodore Hotel puts you close to the Waterfront for independent evenings. Your full-day Peninsula outing follows the Atlantic coast to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, continuing through Simon's Town and False Bay to Kirstenbosch. Boulders penguin admission, the Cape Point funicular and any High Tea are optional extras.
A half-day Winelands tour introduces Stellenbosch and two wine estates, with the scheduled tastings and cheese pairing. Wine purchases are separate. Tour timing, routing and estate visits are confirmed according to availability. On your final day, transfer to Cape Town Airport for your separately paid flight to Johannesburg, or an agreed onward departure.
Clear meals, flights and guest requirements
Arrival dinner is included on Day 1. Days 2–4 include breakfast, lunch and dinner; Day 5 includes breakfast and the cruise dinner. Days 6–10 include breakfast only. Arrival lunch on Day 1 is described in the travel schedule but is not listed in the supplied included meal plan, so it is not promised in the package price. Other meals, drinks, visas, insurance, gratuities and personal expenses are extra.
This itinerary is suitable for guests aged 12 and above because Victoria Falls Safari Club does not accommodate younger children; guests aged 12+ are charged as adults. Please contact us for a different lodge arrangement if travelling with younger children. Confirm flight connections, baggage allowances, lodge availability and room category with us before buying flights.
