Four safaris, two tented nights and a sky full of stars
Leave Johannesburg for a short escape into Manyeleti Game Reserve, with two nights at Ndzhaka Tented Camp and four guided open-vehicle drives. Manyeleti’s name is commonly translated as ‘place of stars’—a fitting setting for evenings around the boma after exploring the bush.
Manyeleti adjoins Kruger National Park, Sabi Sand and Timbavati within the wider unfenced wildlife landscape. Your game drives take place in Manyeleti itself; this itinerary does not include a separate Kruger National Park day safari or a stay inside Sabi Sand. Guides follow wildlife activity, looking for predators, elephants, buffalo and birdlife without guaranteeing particular sightings or an absence of other vehicles.
From sunset colours to spotlight discoveries
Arrive for a late lunch, settle into your rustic en-suite tent and relax in the waterhole setting before your first drive. Afternoon outings continue into the early evening, with spotlight viewing as conditions and reserve rules permit. Morning drives bring a different rhythm: cooler air, fresh tracks and time to watch the bush wake up.
A bush breakfast after the Day 2 sunrise drive and a signature boma dinner add memorable outdoor meals to the programme. Outdoor dining arrangements depend on weather and safe operating conditions. Between drives, enjoy camp leisure time rather than a packed excursion schedule.
A compact safari with road transfers included
US$1,400 per person sharing; US$1,960 for a solo traveller. The price includes the return shared Johannesburg shuttle via Hoedspruit, lodge connections, two tented nights, four Manyeleti drives, meals as specified and conservation and community levies. Premium drinks, gratuities, travel insurance and personal purchases are extra; other beverage arrangements are confirmed with your quotation.
Departure from OR Tambo is planned around 07:00, with arrival in Hoedspruit around 13:00 and at camp around 14:20. These are approximate times, affected by traffic and the shuttle timetable. The final morning includes a drive and breakfast before departure around 09:45. Your Hoedspruit connection and Johannesburg arrival time are confirmed before booking; do not assume the 11:05 Hoedspruit arrival is your Johannesburg airport arrival.
An optional onward flight from Hoedspruit can be discussed instead of the return shuttle, but flights and any change to transfer arrangements are quoted separately.
