From the Cape to a quieter corner of the bush
Trade Cape Town’s coastline for four days of wildlife, escarpment scenery and unhurried evenings at Ivory Moon Lodge. A flight to Hoedspruit brings you into the Lowveld, where three nights in a private bush suite provide a comfortable base for exploring Kruger and the surrounding reserves.
A small lodge, a varied safari
Set in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, Ivory Moon offers an intimate setting for up to eight lodge guests. Between excursions, settle into your suite, spend time on the deck or enjoy the lodge’s relaxed communal spaces. This is your accommodation base, not a lodge inside Kruger National Park.
Your first evening introduces Blue Canyon Reserve on a sunset drive. A full-day open-vehicle safari then explores Kruger’s Orpen–Satara region, followed by your choice of the Panorama Route or a second Kruger safari. A night drive and a guided morning walk in Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate reveal the bush at a different pace. Wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
Choose scenery or more safari time
On Day 3, discover the Drakensberg escarpment, Blyde River Canyon, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, God’s Window and waterfalls. Prefer another day searching for wildlife? Request an additional full-day Kruger safari instead at no extra cost, arranged before departure.
Flights, meals and the journey home
The package includes the Cape Town–Hoedspruit flight allowance, airport collection, three nights, three breakfasts, lunch on arrival and three dinners. Selected local wines, beers and sodas are included at the lodge; spirits, imported beverages and drinks elsewhere are extra.
On Day 4, return by shared shuttle to OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. The tour does not return to Cape Town; a flight back can be arranged at additional cost. Flight fares may vary at booking, and your final fare and shuttle timing must be confirmed before travel. Check the airport arrival time with us before booking an onward flight.
