Eight drives, with time to savour the lodge
Your stay includes eight open-vehicle game drives: an afternoon drive on arrival, morning and afternoon drives on Days 2–4, and a final sunrise drive before departure. With a guide and tracker, explore the reserve in search of elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffalo, alongside its remarkable smaller wildlife. Drives typically last around three hours, adjusted to conditions and sightings. Wildlife encounters cannot be guaranteed.
Between outings, return to leisurely breakfasts, lunch and afternoon tea. Relax beside your private pool or book a treatment at Karula’s spa and wellness centre at additional cost. Sophisticated surroundings and an unhurried rhythm make this a particularly memorable choice for a honeymoon, anniversary or indulgent safari escape.
Refined comfort, clearly included
Return road transfers from Johannesburg are arranged in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. Four nights at Kapama Karula, scheduled game drives, reserve entrance and conservation fees, meals and local beverages are included. Spa treatments, imported alcoholic beverages, gratuities and personal purchases are extra. Game drives are lodge-operated and may be shared with other guests; a private safari vehicle is not included.
US$11,500 per person sharing; US$16,100 for a solo traveller. The package is based on a standard one-bedroom villa, subject to availability. Family Villas and other upgrades are quoted separately, including their applicable transfer arrangements. Road travel occupies much of the first and last day; arrival safari timing and onward flight connections must be confirmed before booking.
