Two wildlife landscapes, one seven-day escape
Discover the contrasts of South Africa’s bush on a journey that links Pilanesberg’s volcanic landscape with Greater Kruger and the dramatic viewpoints of the Panorama Route. Stay two nights at Tlou Tented Safari Camp near Pilanesberg, spend one night at Southern Sun O.R. Tambo, then settle into Sekekama Tented Camp for three nights in Greater Kruger.
US$1,900 per person sharing; US$2,660 for a solo traveller. Pickup from Johannesburg or Pretoria accommodation, the road connections between your stays and the final OR Tambo Airport drop-off are included. This is a road-based safari with shared game drives, not a private-vehicle or fly-in package.
Pilanesberg from morning light to evening skies
Your first three days bring repeated opportunities to explore Pilanesberg in open safari vehicles. Begin with a morning drive and an afternoon sunset outing, then return the next day for sunrise and sunset drives. A longer safari on Day 3 completes the Pilanesberg section before you travel back to Johannesburg.
Tlou’s en-suite tents offer comfortable beds and a relaxed camp setting near Bakgatla Gate, outside the national park. Between drives, enjoy time to rest at camp. Any cultural visits or extra activities are separately arranged; they are not guaranteed inclusions.
Greater Kruger wildlife and a scenic canyon day
Following the airport-hotel overnight, travel to Sekekama for an afternoon safari in the Blue Canyon/Moditlo reserve area. The exact reserve and departure arrangements are confirmed with the operator. The next day takes you into Kruger National Park for approximately seven to eight hours of open-vehicle wildlife viewing through the Orpen–Satara region.
Day 6 changes the pace with a Panorama Route excursion. Blyde River Canyon, the Three Rondavels, God’s Window, The Pinnacle and Berlin Falls are planned highlights, with stops adjusted to weather, road access and available time. Return to your tented base for a final bush evening before the road transfer to Johannesburg.
Comfortable tented stays without inflated promises
The six-night journey includes five nights in furnished en-suite safari tents and one airport-hotel night. Meals described in the daily itinerary are included: lunch and dinner on Days 1–2, breakfast on Days 2–7 and dinner on Days 4–6. Lunch during the Day 3 safari, hotel dinner on Day 3 and lunches on Days 4–7 are extra.
Wildlife moves freely, so Big Five sightings and animals visiting camp cannot be promised. Follow your guide’s safety instructions at all times. The optional final-morning reserve drive is not included and must fit the return-transfer schedule; ask for a current USD quote before adding it. Entrance-fee arrangements are confirmed in your written quote before booking.
