Etali Safari Lodge brings a restful lodge stay to a wildlife-focused overnight journey in Madikwe Game Reserve. Begin with a private transfer from Johannesburg or Pretoria, then enjoy lunch, time in your suite and afternoon tea before the first of two approximately three-hour open-vehicle safaris.
Madikwe’s malaria-free bushveld is home to the Big Five and a rich variety of smaller species. Your guide follows wildlife activity as daylight gives way to evening, with another outing at sunrise. Sightings are never guaranteed, and after-dark viewing depends on reserve rules and conditions.
Rest, dining and lodge facilities
Between safaris, enjoy Etali’s calm surroundings and included use of the gym and steam room. Laundry and Wi-Fi are part of the supplied package. Spa treatments are optional extras. Tell us about dietary requirements before booking; specialist catering, including kosher or halal arrangements, must be confirmed rather than assumed.
Dinner follows the afternoon drive, with the setting determined by lodge arrangements and weather. The next morning pairs a sunrise safari with breakfast before your private return journey.
What your price covers
US$1,840 per person sharing; US$2,576 for a solo traveller with the standard 40% supplement. Includes one Etali night, private return Johannesburg or Pretoria transfers, two three-hour open safaris, arrival lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, departure breakfast, game-drive refreshments/snacks, house wines, local beers, non-alcoholic drinks, gym and steam-room access, laundry, Wi-Fi and all entrance/conservation fees.
Premium drinks outside the listed selection, spa treatments, personal purchases and gratuities are extra. The duplicated exclusion lines in the source programme are not treated as charges: the private transfers and listed drives remain included. All safari and road timings are approximate, with accommodation availability and onward connections confirmed before travel.
