A short safari with space to unwind
Trade the city for Madikwe’s wide horizons on a two-day journey built around one night at Madikwe Safari Lodge. A luxury suite with a private plunge pool gives you a quiet place to settle between the afternoon and sunrise safaris, while lodge dining and selected drinks complete the stay.
Your private road transfer starts in Johannesburg or Pretoria and takes approximately four to five hours. The lodge’s open-vehicle safaris are guided outings, not private drives unless separately arranged. Madikwe’s varied plains and acacia bushveld support the Big Five and many other species, but sightings cannot be guaranteed.
Choose the right lodge setting
Madikwe Safari Lodge offers different settings at Lelapa, Kopano and Dithaba. Your lodge section and suite are confirmed according to availability and your travelling party; the photograph shows a Lelapa suite setting. Family arrangements and section-specific age rules must be checked before booking. Elela Villa is a separate accommodation option and is not included at this suite rate.
From sundowners to sunrise
Arrival lunch and time to relax precede afternoon tea and your first game drive. As the light fades, pause for refreshments and continue wildlife viewing as conditions allow before returning for dinner. The following morning brings a sunrise outing, drive refreshments and brunch before the journey back to the city.
Bush walks, picnic arrangements and spa treatments depend on lodge availability and may carry additional charges; they are not guaranteed parts of this package.
