Suite privacy among ancient tamboti trees
Retreat to Madikwe Hills Game Lodge for two nights of suite comfort and four guided wildlife outings. Glass-fronted decks, private plunge pools, gas fireplaces and outdoor rock showers create a distinctive lodge setting within malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve.
Ranger-led safaris explore changing habitats and animal movements over four approximately three-hour outings. Lodge vehicles are shared unless an exclusive safari is separately confirmed. Big Five sightings cannot be guaranteed. Guests must be aged 10 or above; please contact us before booking with children aged 10–11 so we can confirm age eligibility and applicable pricing.
Your three-day rhythm
Private air-conditioned transfers connect Johannesburg or Pretoria with the lodge. Allow approximately 4.5 hours from Johannesburg, depending on traffic and pickup. Settle into your suite before the first afternoon safari and dinner. On Day 2, enjoy sunrise viewing, breakfast, lunch and lodge leisure before high tea and an evening outing. Finish with a morning safari and breakfast on Day 3.
Warm-weather boma dining depends on conditions; indoor dining is an alternative. Optional spa treatments cost extra. Suite allocation and dietary arrangements are confirmed before departure.
Sharing and solo prices
US$3,125 per person sharing; US$4,375 solo with the standard 40% supplement. Includes two lodge nights, four three-hour open safaris, private return city transfers, itinerary meals, local beverages and the Madikwe conservation levy. Imported beverages, personal expenses, gratuities and optional spa services are excluded. Arrival-day lunch is not listed as included.
