Give Madikwe more time on a three-day stay at Madikwe Safari Lodge. Your luxury suite with a private plunge pool provides a peaceful base between four guided open-vehicle safaris: an arrival-afternoon outing, morning and afternoon drives on Day 2, and a final sunrise safari before departure.
The reserve’s plains and acacia thickets support the Big Five and many other species. Guides read tracks, interpret behaviour and adapt the route to conditions; particular wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. Afternoon refreshments and morning coffee stops add a slower rhythm to the viewing programme.
A lodge setting suited to your party
Lelapa, Kopano and Dithaba offer different settings within Madikwe Safari Lodge. Your section and suite are confirmed before travel according to availability and party requirements; the cover photograph shows a Lelapa suite. Family accommodation and section-specific age rules require advance discussion. Elela Villa is a separate option, not part of this suite-priced package.
Spend the middle of Day 2 enjoying your suite, plunge pool and lodge hospitality. Bush walks, picnic arrangements and spa treatments are optional, subject to availability and any additional charges.
Meals, selected drinks and included fees
US$3,500 per person sharing; US$4,900 for a solo traveller with the standard 40% supplement. Includes two suite nights, return Johannesburg or Pretoria road transport, four guided safaris, all meals during the lodge stay as listed in the itinerary, teas/coffees, in-room minibar, selected soft drinks, beers, spirits and house wines, drive refreshments/snacks, public-area Wi-Fi and entrance/conservation fees.
Premium beers/spirits, cellar wines and champagne, gratuities, telephone calls, laundry, personal purchases and spa treatments are excluded. Road travel takes approximately four to five hours each way. Collection times, suite readiness and safari departures follow your confirmed arrangements and season.
