Eight drives, from sunrise to spotlight
The itinerary includes four morning and four afternoon safaris, each approximately three hours, in open vehicles with lodge guides. Search for the Big Five and other wildlife, pausing for refreshments before exploring after sunset by spotlight. Drives are shared with other lodge guests unless an exclusive vehicle is separately confirmed. Particular wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
Walking as an alternative
A guided bushwalk may replace a game drive by prior arrangement rather than being an additional guaranteed activity. Walks are available to guests older than sixteen; guests aged sixty and above require a medical certificate. Routes, pace and availability depend on the guide, conditions and lodge rules.
Price and inclusions
US$6,250 per person sharing; US$8,750 solo with the standard 40% supplement. Includes four Etali nights, eight itinerary drives, private Johannesburg or Pretoria return transfers, all meals, house wines, local beers and non-alcoholic beverages. Gym and steam-room access, laundry, Wi-Fi, entrance and conservation fees are included. Spa treatments, gratuities, personal expenses and flights are excluded.
