Combine Madikwe’s wildlife with the privacy of a luxury suite and your own plunge pool. Madikwe Safari Lodge offers a relaxed setting for long meals, quiet afternoons and ranger-led exploration. Accommodation is arranged within Lelapa, Kopano or Dithaba according to availability and your requirements; your allocated lodge and suite are confirmed before travel.
Eight guided safaris
Explore landscapes ranging from Kalahari-influenced plains to acacia woodland with a FGASA-accredited field guide. The five-day itinerary includes an arrival-afternoon drive, sunrise and afternoon drives on three full days, and a final sunrise outing. Search for the Big Five and the reserve’s varied nocturnal wildlife, with no guarantee of particular sightings. Open-vehicle drives are shared with other lodge guests unless an exclusive vehicle is separately confirmed.
Leisure between the drives
Return for brunch after the morning safari, then enjoy your suite, plunge pool and the lodge’s hospitality. High tea precedes afternoon drives, with refreshments and snacks along the way. Bush walks and picnic lunches may be requested as optional activities, subject to conditions, availability and lodge rules; they are not additional guaranteed inclusions.
Price and inclusions
US$6,450 per person sharing; US$9,030 solo with the standard 40% supplement. Includes return road transfers from Johannesburg or Pretoria, four luxury suite nights with private plunge pool, eight itinerary drives, all meals, teas and coffees, room minibar, soft drinks and selected beers, spirits and house wines. Game-drive snacks and refreshments, public-area Wi-Fi, entrance and conservation fees are included.
Premium drinks and champagne, gratuities, telephone calls, laundry, personal purchases and spa treatments are excluded. Flights are not included. Confirm lodge allocation, pickup details, dietary needs and optional activities before departure.
