A chalet retreat with wildlife on your doorstep
Spend one night at Rhulani Safari Lodge in malaria-free Madikwe, combining a comfortable private chalet with afternoon and morning ranger-led safaris. The lodge’s relaxed spaces and Tshembo Hide offer another way to enjoy the reserve between drives, with hide access following lodge arrangements and wildlife activity.
Your journey begins with private pickup from Johannesburg or Pretoria and ends with a return city transfer after breakfast on Day 2. The road transfers are private; the open-vehicle lodge safaris are not promised as exclusive. Madikwe is Big Five territory, but no particular animal sighting is guaranteed.
Afternoon tea, sunset trails and a peaceful night
Arrive with time to unpack and settle in. Lunch on arrival is included upon request and should be arranged ahead of travel. Afternoon tea precedes your first game drive, followed by dinner back at the lodge. The next morning starts with hot drinks and snacks before an early safari and breakfast or brunch.
Enjoy Wi-Fi in your room and lodge areas, an in-room Nespresso machine and minibar, bottled water, and the specified selection of local drinks. Optional bushwalks and massages are extra and depend on availability.
Price and clearly stated extras
US$1,600 per person sharing; US$2,240 for a solo traveller with the standard 40% supplement. Includes one Rhulani lodge night, private return city transfers, two open safaris, breakfast/brunch, afternoon tea, dinner and snacks, bottled water and selected house wines, local spirits, soft drinks, teas and coffees. Arrival lunch is included when requested.
Premium wines and spirits, imported champagne, bushwalks, laundry, massages, personal purchases and gratuities are excluded.
