Stay for four nights and enjoy time at the underground hide beside the waterhole, where animal visits depend on natural movements.
Eight drives and another view from the hide
Join lodge rangers for four morning and four afternoon open-vehicle safaris: one on arrival, two on each of three full days and a final morning outing. Search for the Big Five and African wild dogs, without guaranteed sightings. Between drives, the hide offers a different photographic perspective on wildlife visiting the waterhole. Standard game drives are shared with other lodge guests.
Transfers and family arrangements
Return transfers connect Johannesburg, OR Tambo Airport or Pretoria with the lodge. Shared transfers are included; private arrangements may be requested at additional cost. Johannesburg collection is generally around 05:30–07:00, with return drop-off from approximately 17:30, subject to traffic. Confirm onward flights in advance; the supplied programme advises domestic departures no earlier than 19:30 and international departures no earlier than 21:00.
Children of all ages are welcome at the lodge, but children aged six and younger cannot join standard open-vehicle safaris. Contact us before booking with children so safari eligibility and any alternative arrangements can be confirmed.
Price and inclusions
US$4,140 per person sharing; US$5,796 solo with the standard 40% supplement. Includes four suite nights, eight safaris, return transfers, Wi-Fi, entrance and daily conservation fees, and itinerary meals: four breakfasts, three lunches and four dinners. All beverages, gratuities and personal purchases are excluded. Flights and arrival lunch are not included.
Confirm pickup, dietary needs and child arrangements before departure. Outdoor dining and campfire evenings depend on lodge arrangements and weather.
