Two distinctive lodge settings in one Pilanesberg safari
Spend your first night at Black Rhino Game Lodge, set among tamboti trees on the western side of Greater Pilanesberg, then transfer to five-star Ivory Tree Game Lodge for two nights. This four-day journey combines seven approximately three-hour open-vehicle safaris with comfortable lodge stays and a two-hour final closed-vehicle outing.
Explore Pilanesberg’s malaria-free volcanic landscape with experienced guides. Look for elephants, rhinos, lions and the many other species that share the reserve. The Big Five live here, but sightings are never guaranteed.
From Black Rhino’s waterhole to Ivory Tree’s lodge leisure
Enjoy Black Rhino’s relaxed bushveld setting on arrival, with lunch, a sunset safari and dinner. After a sunrise outing and breakfast on Day 2, transfer to Ivory Tree for lunch and another sunset drive. Day 3 includes sunrise and afternoon safaris with lodge leisure in between. Your final morning safari is followed by breakfast and the included closed-vehicle drive.
Spa treatments, archery, drumming and other optional activities are separately charged and subject to availability. Boma dinners depend on weather and lodge arrangements.
