Your own vehicle, your own safari pace
Explore Pilanesberg on an approximately three-hour private game drive with a dedicated guide and exclusive use of an open safari vehicle. This short escape suits couples, families and small groups who want to share the experience without joining other guests.
Follow the park’s roads through bushveld and volcanic scenery, pausing for the wildlife you encounter. Look for elephants, rhinos, lions and other animals while your guide shares insights into their behaviour and habitat. Guides may communicate with other vehicles to help locate sightings, but no animal encounter is guaranteed.
Choose an available departure
Suggested drive times are approximately 05:30–08:30, 09:00–12:00, 16:00–19:00 or 17:30–20:30. The later outing offers an after-dark experience. Your preferred slot is subject to availability, season and park operating arrangements; contact us to confirm it before booking.
Pickup and return are included from Sun City hotels or nearby lodges and guesthouses. The supplied programme names both Bakubung and Manyane gates, so the actual meeting point and gate are confirmed for your departure rather than assumed.
One price for your private group
US$450 per vehicle for a maximum of six people. The price stays the same whether one person or six travel; it is not a per-person rate and there is no solo supplement.
Bottled water, snacks and refreshments are included. Park entrance and conservation fees are paid separately. Supplied entrance rates are R500 for international visitors, R385 for SADC nationals and R168 for South African residents, per person, subject to change. Confirm current fees and identification requirements before travel.
