Three nights above the Pilanesberg bushveld
Slow down at Tshukudu Bush Lodge, a small hillside retreat overlooking Pilanesberg and a waterhole. Three lodge nights give you space to enjoy six ranger-guided open-vehicle safaris, quiet hours on your viewing deck and the changing light across the reserve.
Pilanesberg’s ancient volcanic landscape lies between dry Kalahari and greener Lowveld habitats. Its malaria-free bushveld supports elephants, rhinos, lions and many other species; wildlife sightings are never guaranteed.
Private chalets and an elevated setting
Thatched chalets blend into the rocky hillside, with comfortable interiors, private decks and views across the reserve. Enjoy the lodge plunge pool between drives or arrange optional spa treatments at your expense.
Guests must be aged twelve or older and able to climb 132 steps from the parking area to the main lodge. The hillside setting is unsuitable for travellers who cannot manage these steps.
Your safari rhythm
Arrival includes wildlife viewing from the closed transfer vehicle, followed by high tea and an afternoon open safari. Days 2 and 3 each pair a sunrise outing with a late-afternoon drive, brunch, high tea and dinner. A final sunrise outing and brunch on Day 4 complete the six open safaris before departure-day closed-vehicle viewing and the return to Johannesburg.
