A full day in the bush, with lunch over the fire
Spend the day exploring Pilanesberg’s wildlife-rich bushveld in a shared open safari vehicle, with time for both morning and afternoon sightings. Between drives, settle in for a traditional South African bush braai: a relaxed outdoor lunch with views over Mankwe Dam.
Your local guide leads the search for elephants, rhinos, giraffes, antelope and the park’s predators, explaining the landscapes and animal behaviour along the way. Guides use radio communication to share sightings, but wildlife encounters, including the Big Five, can never be guaranteed.
Morning wildlife, midday braai, afternoon exploring
The scheduled outing runs approximately 09:00–15:00 from Sun City or Manyane Gate. Enjoy around three hours of morning game viewing, followed by a one-hour lunch stop at Fish Eagle Picnic Site. Freshly grilled meats are served with pap, chakalaka, coleslaw and sides, alongside bottled water and refreshments.
After lunch, return to the park’s roads for approximately two more hours of wildlife viewing before your return transfer. The shared vehicle carries no more than ten passengers, keeping the outing sociable and small-group. Times and final pickup arrangements are confirmed for your departure.
Price and what is covered
